Triathlon kit listWe love combining sport and travel. Here's an insight into a triathlon on a tropical island, and below we've included our triathlon kit list.
Lay these out the night before: Tri suit/ racing gear HR monitor and chest strap (if you have one) Garmin (if you have one, make sure that it is fully charged) Vaseline/Bodyglide (to place in those areas where it rubs) Warm outer layer of clothes Flip flops Race number for helmet, wrist, belt and bike Pack these for transition: Goggles Swim cap Wetsuit (if you are using one) Vaseline/petroleum jelly Race belt Towel Small bottle of water (to wash your feet) Sunglasses Running hat Hydration for transition area Bike (if you have a roadbike, make sure that your tyres are pumped to 120 kpi) Helmet Bike shoes (if you have cleats), and elastic bands if you're going to keep them on the bike Spare inner tube, inflater and attachment/hand pump Hydration and nutrition for the bike Running shoes Nutrition Other stuff that would be useful: Camera – how else are you going to take a photo when you win? |
