You don't need to be told that Australia is huge. Gigantic. Vast. So where do you start when you're planning a trip? Of course you want to see Uluru. But how can you cram everything in? Scroll below for a peak at our itinerary for crocodiles, camping and the big red rock.

Itinerary

Day 1
- Arrive in Darwin
 
Day 2
- Fly to Alice Springs
 
Day 3-7
- Five day 4WD Red Centre tour
 
Day 8
- Explore Alice Springs
 
Day 9
- Fly to Darwin
- Pick up car rental
- Drive to Kakadu National Park (3hr to Jubira + 40min to Cooinda)
- Stop at Jubira for supermarket or internet at library (no mobile coverage in park).
- Stop at Bowali Visitors's Centre. Buy park pass.
 
Day 10-11
- Explore Kakadu
 
Day 12-13
- Drive to Katherine (3 hrs) 
- Visit Katherine hot springs, Katherine Gorge, Cutta Cutta caves
 
Day 14
- Drive to Darwin, via Florence Falls at Litchfield National Park
 
Day 15
- Explore Darwin, Parap or nearby coast / islands
- Fly home
